Individual Therapy: Trauma, Identity, and Nervous System Healing
You may be the one others rely on—the caretaker, the thoughtful one, the one who keeps things steady—yet inside feel tense, overextended, or quietly disconnected from yourself.
Maybe you learned early to stay small, stay useful, or stay attuned to others in order to feel safe or connected. Over time, those patterns can become exhausting, even if they once helped you get through.
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, reconnect with your inner world, and begin experiencing something different.
Many of these patterns are rooted in trauma, attachment wounds, or environments where your needs had to be minimized, managed, or set aside. Over time, your nervous system learned how to stay safe, even if that meant staying hyper-aware, over-responsible, or disconnected from your own needs.
In our work together, we slow things down and begin to listen more closely to your internal world.
Sessions offer a mindfulness-based, transpersonal approach, integrating relational, somatic, and attachment-based therapy. This means change happens not just through insight, but through felt, embodied experience.
This work may include:
- reconnecting with your body and nervous system
- understanding patterns shaped by trauma or early relationships
- rebuilding self-trust and internal clarity
- shifting out of people-pleasing, hyper-responsibility, or shutdown
- exploring identity, meaning, and your deeper inner life
As this work deepens, you may notice more space inside yourself. More clarity in your choices. A greater ability to respond rather than react.
I offer individual therapy in Fort Collins, Colorado and virtually across Colorado, supporting adults who are ready to move beyond survival patterns and into a more grounded, connected way of being.
Therapy becomes a place where you don’t have to hold everything alone. A place where your system can begin to settle, and where more of you is allowed to come forward.
Sliding scale pricing is available for a limited number of clients.
